William A. Broocks brings a background to the Firm that adds to it already diverse practice areas.  William began his legal career as an intern for the Honorable Patricia Alvarez in San Antonio's Fourth Court of Appeals while in law school.  Refining his focus, William chose to emphasize working with Texas municipalities. His law school internship continued as he assisted in re-writing water consumption provisions of San Antonio's Unified Development Code, as well a clerking for a commercial development firm.  His relocation back to Austin allowed him to continue representing several municipalities with his work at Russell, Rodriguez, Hyde, & Bullock.  During his tenure there, he authored numerous papers on various aspects of municipal representation.

Since joining Broocks Law Firm, William has continued to represent clients as they pursue their rights before municipal offices around Texas.  He has also been able to diversify his skills in the practice of corporate litigation.  From advising clients on TBOC compliance to assisting in all aspects of corporate litigation in State and Federal venues, as well a assisting clients in collection efforts in foreign jurisdictions, William has continued to add his valuable skillset to the corporate litigation arena at the Firm.

As a student of Physics, Ben C, Broocks, Jr. (B. J.) brings technical knowledge as well as data analysis and critical reasoning skills to the Firm.  After being Honorably Discharged from the U. S. Navy with the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class, BJ graduated from Texas State with a BS in Physics and minor in Applied Mathematics.  He then continued to earn his Masters of Science where his studies and research focused on the development of experimental thin-film solar technology.  In addition to his research, BJ worked as a graduate assistant and lab instructor for Senior and Graduate level classes such as Semiconductor Device Fabrication and Computational Physics.

BJ's background in data analysis and research allows him to review and converge data from multiple unrelated sources for argument support for his litigation team.  Additionally. his experience communicating high-level technical information is used to design demonstratives, exhibits, and presentations as an evidentiary facilitator of case law in a clear and logical array.
